Complete gibberish -- which is always the sign of the quality of the product you are buying. Quality. Instruction manual. Okay, I have been a loyal Amazon customer for about 10 years now. Make sure you have a hammer too.4. It does not fit on our projector.3.
We made it universal with the help of a hammer and pliers.
The images are not clear, and the quality of images is bad so you cannot tell what screw you need to use or what thing you need to tighten.2.
You could not loosen the screws, the movable components would not move.
Also, I have never wrote a review for a product, bad or good, but I just had to say something about this "universal" product. Why 1 star, and why you should not buy this product:1.
I have seen some poor things but this one takes the cake.
"Universal".
Only if the term: "yes, we included every screw known to man in this package".
If you are buying this product make sure you have some WD-40 because you will need it.
Once we installed it, we were not able to tighten the screws and bolts so the projector would stay in a desired spot. All in all, we wasted a lot of time and effort to put this piece of junk up on my wall.Strongly recommend you find a good alternative, and make sure to buy a recommended mount for your projector.
This however I would not so much fault the maker, but the nature of the technology. Now that I have had some time with it, I still must say I am impressed with the quality. I wrote an earlier review. I suspect all are subject to it. The only con I have discovered is that the unit I got did have some dead pixels. I found two in my unit. You also have to really really be looking for it to see them. They kind of look like sparkling stars on an all black scene.
STURDYSTABLEThis projector mount is where we all gather when there is a tornado warning.Assembly took some 'fiddlin' but it is definitely VERSATILE to the 'nth' degreethe latch 'releases' and you've got the projector and the weight of this beast. right-NOW. IF I ever need another mount, (projector OR turret). this is IT.
I first had this installed in a room with a wooden ceiling but recently moved it to my patio home theatre where it is bolted into a steel beam. I was able to use it without having to reposition my track lighting which is right in front the mount. It's great for me because of the quick release mechanism. It allows me to mount and unmount the projector fairly quickly and easily so I can secure it when not in use.The adjustments can be finicky but the mount is well built and holds my Optoma projector very well. All in all, a great mount that does the job and won't break the bank. Highly recommended.
If you are halfway inclined in assembling things, using this mount is fairly straight forward, but the assembly instructions are lacking. I bought this mount based on price and decent reviews. I am using it to mount an Epson HC-6100 projector. All in all it looks nice, is compact and provides a good solid platform for my projector. I believe you will be satisfied with it.
